Everybody needs a good therapist!

I love what I do and am truly honored to be a practicing Marriage & Family Therapist.

Born and raised in Austin,TX,  I graduated with a degree in Advertising from the University of Texas prior to moving to New York to ‘experience life.’ There I worked in the travel and hospitality industries while also owning my own business.  Eventually, the lure of Hollywood brought me out to Los Angeles where I was employed in the entertainment industry working as an executive for film studios, in publishing and as a talent agent.

I received a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles, trained at The Center for Individual and Family Counseling in North Hollywood, Supervised the Teen Hot Line at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and worked as a Primary Therapist at Klean Recovery Center in West Hollywood and at The Hills.

Currently, I am happy to be continuing my work in Private Practice at Pacific Psychotherapy Associates working with individuals, couples and groups. In addition, I faciliate an ongoing Gay Men's Therapy Group on Thursday evenings.

As a therapist, my specialties include working with clients in the entertainment industry, with the LGBT community, with couples, with clients suffereing from depression and anxiety, and with those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.

I believe the most important factor in creating a successful experience for clients is in developing a safe and trusting relationship between the client and the therapist.  I endeavor to create a supportive, nonjudgmental and client-centered space in which self-awareness and healing can occur.  I am genuinely fascinated by the process of helping clients improve their lives.

It is a privilege to listen to you, to ask questions and to bring my experience from life and from this exciting field of study to support your therapeutic goals. Whether it's ongoing, preventative or a well-deserved tune-up, everybody needs a good therapist!

I look forward to speaking with you.
